The
teacher puts the starter questions, diagrams, photos,
etc on six to eight pieces of paper and puts them round
the room with the postbox under each sheet. The pictures
below could be used for this exercise. You post your
answers or responses in the boxes.
The
teacher then numbers you from one to six. You take the
box with the responding number (eg if you are number
one you take the first box, number two the second box,
and so on). The teacher will give you a large piece
of paper and you will analyse the information and present
it to the rest of the class using methods of your choice
to get the message across. Everyone should participate
in the presentation.
Then
the teacher will ask you to write your own questions
on pieces of paper and put them in the box. These questions
could be the basis of your research, class discussion
or debate topic.
