Interpret information to describe the biological concepts and processes involved in a technique that meets a human need or demand.
Interpret information to explain the biological concepts and processes involved in a technique that meets a human need or demand.
Interpret information to discuss the biological concepts and processes involved in a technique that meets a human need or demand.

 

 

 



Describe requires the student to recognise, name, draw, give characteristics of or an account of.
Explain requires the student to provide a reason as to how or why something occurs.
Discuss requires the student to show understanding by linking biological ideas. It may involve students in justifying, relating, evaluating, comparing and contrasting, analysing. The ideas discussed will relate to biological concepts and processes involved in the technique and how the technique meets the human need or demand.
