Activity Work in groups to prepare submissions to a tribunal on the proposal to set up a fishing and fish processing enterprise at "Baysville" (Activity E).
Each group has to present the view of a different group to the tribunal, so the teacher needs to assign each group a role. Suggested roles are:
	Commercial fisher
	Recreational fisher
	MFish fisheries officer
	Fisheries scientist
	Environmentalist
	Local resident
	Local Maori representative

Each group has to work out their point of view and decide on the best way to present their findings to the tribunal. You could use a multi-media approach, eg, diagrams, oral and written presentations, tapes, pictures, etc.

The person hearing the submissions should make a decision about the management of this fisheries resource.
